Eligibility for PGDCA

Eligibility

A Bachelor or Postgraduate degree in any discipline of the University or a degree of any other University which has been recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent and marks not less than 50% in graduation in aggregate.

(a) Bachelor’s degree of Panjab University under 10+2+3 system of examination with atleast 50% marks in any discipline.

OR

(b) B.E. / B.Tech.

OR

(c) B.Voc. (Software Development). B.Voc. (Hardware and Networking) & B.Voc. Multimedia (Graphics & Animation) course with at least 50% marks.

OR

(d) Any other examination recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to (a) or (b) or (c) above.

Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication

Graduate Attributes

The course aims to introduce the learners to the nuances and various tools of Mass Communication.

The students are familiarized with specialized skills required in the fields of print journalism, electronic journalism, advertising and public relations.

The course in Mass Communication forms the basis for preparing students for the rigors of the professional world of mass media.
