Admission Procedure

Online College Admission Form is to be filled by all the candidates seeking admission. For admission in college and related updates visit College website.

Duly filled Online Admission Form should be submitted as per the schedule.

Candidates seeking admission to the courses regulated through Online Centralized Admission are also required to fill the Online College Admission Form if their name is in the merit list of MCM DAV College. The Duly filled form is to be submitted along with required documents in the college at the time of admission.

Candidates must bring their original certificates for verification at the time of admission.

Step II

Instructions for On-the-spot Admission:

Printout of duly filled Admission Form to be submitted in the College as per the schedule given in College Prospectus.

Students must submit the form in person and bring original certificates for verification at the time of admission

Filling Online Admission Form does not imply admission or guarantee admission to the applied course.

Admission will be confirmed only on the day of admission after:

Scrutiny of the Admission Form

Verification of Original Documents

Recommendation of Admission Committee

Completion of all the other College formalities

Pay College Fee Online

To confirm admission, login to registered student account and check successful status of Fee Payment.

Migration Rules

Candidates require Migration if :

They are from a University other than Panjab University.

They are pass-outs from Boards / Councils / Bodies other than CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh (For admission to undergraduate Semester I classes).

Candidates will have to clear the deficient subject/s if any, within the permissible chances.

The candidates seeking migration must submit Original Migration Certificate along with the Original Certificate of lower examination passed, by October 15, 2019.

When the migration of a student has been allowed, she must join the college within 15 days, otherwise her migration shall be considered as cancelled.

Migration fee shall be charged as per Panjab University guidelines .

College is entitled to the tuition fee for the month in which migration is sanctioned and the college to which she migrates is not entitled to charge fee for the fraction of that month.

Migration will not be permitted if the combination of subjects applied by the student does not tally with the combination of the subjects offered in this college.

Mid-term migration from any other university is not allowed.

Migration of a student from a professional college to this college and vice-versa is not permissible.

Inter-College Migration

Candidate from any other college affiliated to the Panjab University can migrate by seeking prior permission of the two Principals from institutes concerned. The candidate has to submit college leaving certificate from the previous college along with the other certificate.

Foreign Students

They must have a valid passport and valid student visa.

They must obtain equivalence certificate and eligibility certificate from Panjab University.

The Admission and Fee would be governed by the guidelines of Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Foreign students will follow all rules and guidelines of Panjab University.

Rules for Withdrawal

A student who wishes to leave the college must apply in writing to the Principal and application must be countersigned by her father or guardian.

No student will be permitted to leave the college until she has cleared her college dues.

A student has to pay the college fees and all other dues until her name is formally withdrawn.


Reservation of seats will be as per Panjab University Guidelines.

Anti Ragging Declaration has to be submitted along with the admission form by every student.
