EBSB club of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh has been created under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of the Government of India. The ideology was proposed by the honorable Prime Minister on 31-10-2015, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who is known for uniting the country as one nation. Under this initiative, the States/UTs of the nation are paired with each other. Hence, Chandigarh has been paired with Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The states organize various activities and festivals for promoting the rich culture and heritage of their paired States/UTs. EBSB club of our college conducts various engaging activities that promote the sustained and structured cultural connect with paired state. It provides a platform for our stakeholders to share, discuss, interact, learn and propagate the diversity of our country with zeal and enthusiasm. This gives the opportunity to appreciate the diversity and promote the national integrity at the same time.
