There are two modes of admission with reference to different classes:
A. Courses under Non-Centralized Admission/ Online College Admission (Regulated by College)
B. Courses under Centralized Admission/ Online Centralized Admission (Regulated by DHE)
NOTE: All admissions done will be provisional and subject to the verification of documents by Panjab University, Chandigarh. If any document or information is found to be false/ incorrect/concealed at any stage, the admission may stand cancelled. There will be no refund of fees in this case.
UG COURSES UNDER NON-CENTRALIZED ADMISSION
• Forms for College Admission are available Online only
• Online College Admission Form is to be filled by all the Students seeking Admission
Applicants seeking admission to courses regulated through College Online Admission must:
STEP I
Read the eligibility details of the respective course given in College Online Prospectus available at https://mcmdavcwchd.edu.in/prospectus/
STEP II
Fill the Online Admission Form available at https://admissions.mcmdav.com/student-login
Semester I & III UNDER NEP 2020

(NOTE: Applicants opting for Sanskrit in BA-I will get a concession of 25% in College Admission Fee)

BBA (Banking Financial Services & Insurance)
BVoc Retail Management
Diploma Course in Microbial Analysis and Food Safety
Semester V NON NEP 2020

BA(Honours): English, Hindi, Punjabi, Economics, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Psychology and Sociology.
BSc(Honours): Physics.
BCom(Honours): Accounting & Finance ; Economics; Management Studies.
BVoc Retail Management
UG COURSES UNDER CENTRALIZED ADMISSION
A Student seeking admission to courses under Centralized Admission is also required to fill the Online College Admission Form once her name appears in the Centralized Merit List for the College.

Applicants seeking admission to courses regulated through Online Centralized Admission (DHE) have to:
STEP I
Fill the DHE Online Application Form posted on www.dhe.chd.gov.in and follow the procedure as given on the DHE Website.
STEP II
After getting the name in the Centralized Merit List/ seat allocation through DHE portal, the applicant must refer to the centralized admission procedure at https://mcmdavcwchd.edu.in/centralized-admission-procedure/ for paying the course fee.
STEP III
After completion of step II, student is required to fill the College Online Admission Form of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, available at: https://admissions.mcmdav.com/student-login with the same Email ID and Password which were used in STEP II.
PG Courses under Non-Centralized Admission
The College offers Post Graduate courses in the following subjects:
MA – Economics, English, Hindi, Psychology, and Sociology
MCom
MSc – Chemistry, Mathematics
Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA)
Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication (PGDMC)
