Sports and Games
The college has a physical education center with qualified physical education teachers and coaches. The college has facilities for various games and sports. It has a full-fledged gymnasium playfields for Football, Hockey, Cricket, Baseball, Kho-kho etc, courts for Basketball, Volley ball, and Badminton.
The college has won the Panjab University General Efficiency All-Round Championship in sports 39 times in its existence of 50 years. The college owns well maintained playfields and Seth Bhagirath Das Gymnasium Hall within the campus. Facilities are provided for various games and sports such as Hockey, Volley Ball, Ball Badminton, Basketball, Handball, Softball, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Swimming, Yoga, Kabbaddi, Gymnastic, Judo, Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Cycling, Rowing, Athletics, Shooting, Baseball, Netball, Archary, Football, Fencing and Chess.
The college has become the first girl’s institution to introduce the adventure Sport-Climbing Rock of International quality. The rock, 12 meter high and 5 meter wide, has two faces for difficult climbing and one face for speed climbing, good enough for holding national championships. To be of some service to the society we have offered the facility to adventure lovers and armed forces during summer vacations.

Players are also eligible to apply for scholarship awarded by NIS – Patiala and Sports Department-Chandigarh Administration.
Terms and Conditions for Sports Students
It would be compulsory for all the players to attend training for an hour and a half in the morning and two hours in the evening from the beginning of the session under the direct supervision of a Lecturer in Physical Education. Coaches are also appointed to impart training to the players.
